About Dave Stockwell

Dave Stockwell handles all municipal and state criminal cases in Norman, Oklahoma, and the surrounding area. He has earned his reputation through years of dedicated legal service. Prior to attending law school, Dave Stockwell was a Senior Agent for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics. As a Senior agent, Dave worked in various capacities, undercover, pharmacy audits and investigations. Since law school, Dave has maintained a wonderful relationship with all law enforcement agencies allowing him to gain their cooperation while representing his clients. For the last 20 years, Dave has been Chairman of the Oklahoma Community Sentencing Planning Council and Chairman of the Cleveland County Adult Drug Court These diversion programs assist defendants in gaining sobriety, life skills and help them to return to productive members of society rather than facing incarceration. Dave was appointed to both of the positions by the former and current District Attorney of Cleveland County. Dave is the Past President of the Cleveland County Bar Association, a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and a member of the National College for DUI Defense.
