Apply for Re-Certification Renewal

Every five years, a Board Certified lawyer must comply with the requirements for recertification as set forth in the Rules Governing Board Certification.

In summary, no later than ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of board certification, an application for re-certification must be received by NCDD. This application will require affirmation that the lawyer continues to demonstrate substantial involvement in the practice area of DUI Defense Law and continues the level of experience requirements as set forth in the Rules Governing Board Certification.

There is no examination given to applicants for recertification. Re-certification Fees must be paid with the re-certification application. Any questions relating to re-certification may be directed to our Executive Director, Rhea Kirk, at (334) 264-1950 or by email at rhea@ncdd.com.
