About Mark N. Weingart
Mr. Weingart has been practicing law for over 35 years. He is a former assistant county prosecuting attorney in the State of Ohio, where he prosecuted in excess of 100 D.U.I. cases. When he came to Arizona in 1979, he was appointed as a city court judge in the City of Tempe, where he presided over D.U.I. cases. He worked full and part-time in that capacity as a judge from 1979 until 1986. Also for a six-year period, he served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona. Additionally, Mr. Weingart has participated as a seminar lecturer, both locally and nationally, on D.U.I. defense techniques. Mr. Weingart is frequently consulted by the media as a legal expert on D.U.I. and other vehicular crime-related issues and has appeared on both local radio and television news. Mr. Weingart is a Founding Member of the National College for D.U.I. Defense, member of the Maricopa County, Ohio State and American Bar Associations, State Bar of Arizona, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Judicature Society and Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice and has been certified by the Arizona State Bar Association as a Criminal Law Specialist.
